ABOUT

Play as the alpha of a monstrous horde, created by a twisted garbage truck driver obsessed with horror movies, as you wreak havoc on a town in this chaotic horde roguelike.

The player is an eccentric garbage truck driver who has a fascination with horror movies. They also have a dark ambition, to create spliced creatures called “Splicings” to set upon the town to cause chaos and destruction. Taking control of the Alpha, you direct waves of “Splicings” of your own creation to destroy the town, however this is time dependent on stability of their DNA. Once it degrades enough your creations return to their primordial liquid state ending the chaos. You gain DNA strands through killing and absorbing the townsfolk to manipulate and upgrade the “Splicings”, unlocking more abilities that can be spliced into their DNA mark up. However, the more chaos the player creates the more resistance they will face each time.

ROLES AND DUTIES

Game Designer

In SCR I worked with Timothy Marquis-Fjeld to create the defining features, objectives, obstacles, levels, settings, and narrative.

Game Developer

I was involved in developing new ideas for game design, translating these into visual ideas and prototypes, iterate, and polish gameplay.

Concept Artist

I brought SCR's vision to life through bold, expressive concept art, defining its look and style.

Character Artist

As the character artist on SCR, I brought creatures and NPCs to life through sculpting, unwrapping, texturing, and implementation into engine. 

3D Artist

I crafted a range of 3D models, including Splice Scene elements, vehicles, and set dressing with Halloween assets.

Animator

I rigged and animated the "Splicings" creatures and NPCs.

UI and UX Designer

I designed and implemented the UI and HUD, ensuring a seamless user experience for menu navigation.
